A member of the public has just sent us this. We have seen it being shared on a few forums, unsure of the authenticity of what is being said, but with it being part of our line of business we thought we would share it to at least raise awareness, better safe than sorry!
The Daily record are now also running this story!

With fuel prices declining, and consumers panic buying fuel, fuel stations are busy.
We advise following the NHS advice, which is to stay at home!
If you have to leave home and have to fuel up, please take the necessary precautions:
Gloves –
Gloves are readily available at most fuel stations. Stick a pair on before handling a fuel nozzle.
Hand Towels –
If no gloves are available, most garages provide hand towels, wrap one around the nozzle before use.
Pay By Card –
Avoiding paying by cash could prevent the spread from the contact with notes and coins. Contactless card payments are advisable but only work for sums of £30 or less.
Distance –
When queuing to pay etc., keep to a safe distance from people around you.
Wash Your Hands!! –
Some garages we have been into recently have provided anti-bacterial handwash; others have toilet facilities. If you have your own handwash/wipes, do so before re-entering your vehicle.
Stay Safe, and be considerate to others!
