Out Saving Another Customer ££££’s!!!
Mr Lindsay was quoted over £1800 for a fuel drain from his main dealer!! Mr Lindsay had filled up his Audi TT with 19 Litres of petrol and then topped it up with diesel as he was told from the cashier that if he filled up with premium diesel it would be OK! After getting home and searching online on a few independent car forums he realised that this level of contamination could potentially lead to major issues. He gave his main dealer a call to sort this issue who quoted him £1800, questioning the quote he was told this included diagnosing any issues, having the tank & system drained and changing the fuel filter, he was also quoted on top of this for taking his car to the garage as his recovery assist would not cover for misfuelling.
